BPH was invited to participate in this closed call for 72 artists- an ambitious curatorial project organized by Emily Arthur, Marwin Begaye and John Hitchcock.

This unique exhibit will trace relocation and imprisonment of 72 Plains Indians captured at Salt Fork OK and brought by wagon, train and boat to Fort Marion in St. Augustine FL.

This 3 year war exile(1875-1878) at the fort served as a model for the military methods of assimilation and lead to the founding of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Pennsylvania 1 year later.

January 16- February 28, 2015
Crisp-Ellert Museum, Flagler College, St. Augustine
April 22- June 10
